To answer these questions, we regularly introduce you to members of our team and give you some behind-the-scenes insights along the way. In today's post, you'll get to know Ferhat Boyacioglu, our Head of Sales and Marketing AT/EE:
It starts with marketing, where I'm responsible for the strategic development of the marketing plan and for the development of the digital marketing strategy, which includes expanding lead generation and increasing company visibility.
In sales, I coordinate the strategic planning in close cooperation with the management and identify new business potential on the market, while also maintaining relationships with our partners and expanding their network in Austria and the Central and Eastern European market. I am also the central contact for our activities in connection with Salesforce and responsible for constantly developing this partnership as well.
I have been working in telecommunications and IT for over 15 years now, most of which I spent in sales.
My last two employers certainly left the greatest mark on me. At NTT, I was in charge of a large number of international key accounts, and then at Salesforce I was responsible for market development in the areas of customers and partners.
In the last 3 years and in parallel to my full-time job, I also finished my degree in technical sales management at the University of Applied Sciences.
Why did you decide to become a member of the Infinica Team?
A major reason for doing so, was certainly a mix of the nice team, the strong corporate culture and an entrepreneurial vision that directly caught my eye. Besides all that, the possibility for personal development had me convinced, and the fact that I see a lot of potential for further market development at Infinica.
How do you spend your spare time?
I try to spend as much time as possible with my family. Sport is also playing a big role in my life, as since I was 6 years old, I almost do sports in one way or another.
For me, this is the ideal balance to the times I spend sitting in front of the computer.
When I am not working out or shooting hoops at the park, I love to travel to get to know different cultures.
Besides that, I like to read and to be perfectly honest, it includes a lot of reading up on business related topics, but I consider myself lucky, as I work in a field that is also a personal interest of mine.
